Rick Grasinger lives in Murrysville, an eastern suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with his wife, Judy, of twenty-five plus years and their two chocolate Labrador Retrievers, Coco and Roxy.  Rick has spent most of his life building homes in the family business, Grasinger Homes, alongside his father and 4 brothers, and more recently, his own son and various nephews.    

Rick has been concocting characters and their stories in his head for years.  When his two children, Erica and Matthew, moved away to attend college, he finally found time to start putting his ideas down on paper. Vacationing with his wife at various all-inclusive resorts over the years has provided him with the inspiration for one of the rich plot twists in THE SURVIVAL GUIDE TO SUBURBAN WARFARE.

With the help of his wife, who served as both research assistant and editor, Rick has completed his first novel.  THE SURVIVAL GUIDE TO SUBURBAN WARFARE is book one of a planned three part series, with the second installment, DOES HELL HAVE ROOM FOR ONE MORE, soon to follow.
